The Vulcan has risen!

This is an old picture scanned from a slide, but today is a special day in aviation history because after 14 years on the ground the big aluminium triangle is back in it's rightful place, long may she ride the skies! Congratulations to all at TVOC you deserve this day for all of your fantastic efforts.

Another fix for a low-level addict

Its been a few weeks since I managed to get down to Wales, and with a one day window of opportunity and a pretty good forcast yesterday (10th Oct 07) seemed like it would be a good day. Sadly you can't trust the weather man, and the blue skys and 17C weather failed to materialise. The action was a bit slow to happen, but the day turned out 'not bad' with a couple of passes from the display Hawk XX205, and a couple of GR9s, took about 70 shots and kept over 50, and I'm looking forward to another visit soon!
